The museum is housed in the Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye, a favourite residence of the kings of France, and I am lucky enough to work in the magnificent hall of Mars. The museum hosts and incredible collection coming from several southern Egyptian sites and during this first stay I was able to analyse a part of the collection and choose the samples that will be subjected to micro-tomography. I felt really welcomed by the staff of the museum and I would like to thank especially Christine Lorre who showed great enthusiasm for the project and helped me in all possible ways.
